Finding any information about this album is not easy, and googling the band name is obviously completely futile. I can only assume that this was the sole output of what looks to have been a short lived combo with a penchant for funky and groovy stuff, musically somewhere at the crossroads of Sly and the Family Stone and Earth Wind & Fire. Not a bad crossroads, I must say! The winner here is obviously the album cover, but the songs are pretty cool as well.
I actually ran across an October 1975 interview recently that gave a lot of insight into the group. They are out of Richmond, Virginia. Tom Cephas and Joe Carter from Dynamic Entertainment were their producers (see groups Starfire and The Fabulous Waller Family). They had a semi hit on the Billboard charts which peaked in early September 1975 at no. 37, "Let Me Lay My Funk on You". They were hoping to be the next Earth, Wind and Fire - a rock and soul supergroup. They all had different gigs before becoming full time musicians - one at the post office, one a college student at Norfolk State, etc. - @OlogistBBB (Instagram and Twitter)
